This renovation is a modern take on classic West Indies interior design: It has all of the traditional eclectic mix of cultures and texture but the dark indigenous mahogany furniture normally found is now painted white or black. It is built around a center courtyard with pool with splashes of turquoise and intense green lush foliage is the backdrop in every room. The stunning ceiling trusses, the antique coral chandelier pair beautifully with the modern kitchen stools. One of my favorite parts of this house is the graphic black and white, floor to ceiling bookcase in the dining room. It invites you to sit and stay awhile in this gorgeous space during the day when it is most beautiful.
