Old York Historical Society Bathroom

This is a guest bath in a late 1880’s Shingle style house in coastal Maine. The 1930’3 Kohler lavender sink toilet and tub that were installed in the bathroom were in pristine condition so we wanted to save them and bring them back to their former glory. We created a faux wall treatment of sheer tendrils of seaweed in tobacco, olive and lavender overlaid with a sheer linen textured glaze. Surrounded with white and natural linen and walnut wood, the vintage lavender fixtures look on trend 85 years later!
