Merry Lodge

This is the second project that I’ve done for this client. It’s a traditional manor house in Surrey, UK built in 1898. We added a conservatory onto the back to capture as much sun as possible. The front parlors are for entertaining and the back kitchen and conservatory is for family fun. One of my favorite design projects during the renovation was incorporating decorative details into the kitchen. Notice the range hood detail that was inspired by one of the front parlor historic fireplace mantels. Behind is the charming hand painted tile inspired by one of my client’s favorite illustrations. We added personalized details of her children playing in the backyard
