Raven Hill

A modern take on a beach house in southern Maine this newly renovated house went from a dark and dated cape to a light filled zen den! The uncluttered all white palette with accents of black gains color by all of the natural materials around: white oak wide planked floors, white oak cabinets and floating shelves, the sweeping Calcutta marble fireplace, jute rugs, handmade tile etc. My heart rate slows every time I’m there and it gives me such pleasure to have defined the meaning of “beach house” with something else besides the more traditional blue and white.
