Estuary

I value timeless design. This was a sitting room in an old farmhouse that overlooks the upper part of the York river in southern Maine. Designed in 2006, it was featured in New England Home magazine.

The grass cloth walls, tonal silk draperies and pillows reflect the tidal water shimmering in the afternoon sunlight. The modern furnishings, Tibetan rug and iconic Naguchi coffee table have carried the design forward for almost 20 years and it still looks current.
