Bermuda Bay | Upcycled

This renovation was a clubhouse in a gated community in Florida. The goal was to update the space but also make it a more desirable place that members would want to host poolside cocktail parties, bridge games, exercise room etc. In an effort to get the most out of a tight budget, I repurposed most of the outdated 1980’s wicker and rattan chairs by painting and adding updated legs to make them a more comfortable height. I have always been inspired by the interiors of traditional British West Indian homes and I brought in a few elements here. The members were thrilled with the result and have been using it regularly. That is why I love what I do!
